These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Liminal Tarot, including liminaltarot.com, any associated mobile experience, and any related services, content, features, software, and functionality (collectively, the "Services").
Liminal Tarot is operated by Dream Atlas Studio ("Liminal Tarot," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
We do not knowingly allow users under 18 to create accounts. See our Privacy Policy for more information about children's privacy.
Liminal Tarot is a tarot reflection and journaling service. It provides tools such as digital or physical-deck reading workflows, AI-assisted interpretations, daily card experiences, journaling, chapters, yes/no tarot features, and related content.
The Services are intended for entertainment, personal reflection, self-inquiry, journaling, and personal use. They are not intended as fortune telling, guaranteed prediction, or a substitute for professional services.
Liminal Tarot is not a medical, mental health, crisis, therapy, legal, financial, or emergency service.
Content generated through the Services, including AI-generated interpretations, reflections, prompts, and summaries:
You remain solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and interpretations.
If you are experiencing a crisis or may be in danger, do not rely on the Services. Contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis support resource.

We may monitor, investigate, suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably believe misuse has occurred.
Some parts of the Services use AI systems or other automated tools to generate content.

We may change the AI providers, models, or processing methods used in the Services at any time.
As between you and Liminal Tarot, you retain ownership of content you submit to the Services, such as your questions, reflections, journal entries, chapter names, and saved reading content ("User Content").
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, reproduce, adapt, and display User Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, improve, and provide the Services to you.
This license terminates when you delete the relevant User Content or your account, except where we are required to retain copies for legal, security, or operational reasons as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit and for ensuring that you have the rights needed to submit it.
The Services, including our software, design, branding, text, site layout, visual elements, compilations, and all content made available by us other than your User Content, are owned by or licensed to Liminal Tarot or Dream Atlas Studio and are protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws.
Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. You may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, sell, license, or exploit any part of the Services except as expressly permitted by us or by law.
Some features require a paid subscription, such as a Pro plan. Subscription terms, prices, and features may be displayed at the time of purchase and may change from time to time.
If you purchase a recurring subscription, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge you on a recurring basis until you cancel. Billing may occur monthly, annually, or as otherwise described at checkout.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You can cancel future renewals at any time through the billing tools for the platform where you subscribed: iOS subscriptions are managed through your Apple subscription settings, Android subscriptions are managed through Google Play, and web subscriptions are managed through the Stripe customer portal or other billing tools we make available.
Cancellation stops renewal for the next billing cycle and generally takes effect at the end of your current paid period.
Deleting your Liminal Tarot account does not automatically cancel an active subscription with Apple, Google Play, or Stripe. If you have an active subscription, you should cancel it through the applicable billing provider before deleting your account.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated by us at the time of purchase, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused time, or unused features.
You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, or governmental charges associated with your purchase, except for taxes imposed on our income.
Paid plans described as offering “unlimited” readings or features are subject to fair use. Fair use means personal, non-automated use consistent with individual reflective practice. We reserve the right to apply reasonable daily or periodic limits to prevent abuse, automated access, or usage patterns that are inconsistent with personal use. Such limits are set generously and are not intended to affect normal use of the Services.
We may offer free features, usage limits, promotional access, or beta/pre-production functionality. We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any feature, limit, plan, or offering at any time, to the extent permitted by law. Where practicable, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes to paid subscription plans.
All plans, whether free or paid, are subject to the fair-use provisions described in Section 9.6 and the acceptable-use provisions described in Section 5.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Where supported, you may also delete specific content or delete your account.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, or remove content, if:
On termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. Certain provisions of these Terms will continue to apply by their nature, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, payment obligations, and dispute-related matters.
We aim to keep the Services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Services may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, upgrades, outages, provider failures, security reasons, or events beyond our reasonable control. We may update or modify the Services at any time.
The Services may depend on or integrate with third-party services, including hosting, authentication, AI processing, analytics, communications, payment, and infrastructure providers. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies.
The Services may include links to third-party products. Some of these links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them. This does not affect the price you pay or our editorial independence in recommending products.
We are not responsible for third-party products or services that we do not control.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT, PERSONAL REFLECTION, AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIMINAL TAROT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AND AVAILABILITY.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY CONTENT OR OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIMINAL TAROT, DREAM ATLAS STUDIO, AND THEIR AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Liminal Tarot, Dream Atlas Studio, and their affiliates, service providers, licensors, and representatives from and against claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Material changes will become effective 30 days after posting, unless a longer or shorter period is required by law or stated in the notice.
By continuing to use the Services after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@liminaltarot.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Liminal Tarot regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
